Ultrasonic Welding Stations
Our Ultra Sonic Welding Stations can be used on variety of substrates including hard and soft plastics along with softer nonferrous metals; these systems are commonly used in the joining of brackets to the backs of facias’ without damaging class “A” finishes. AIS Technologies Group’s is the industry leader in Ultra-Sonic systems. Ultrasonic Punching Stations
A punch that utilizes Ultrasonic motion tuned between 20,000 to 40,000 hertz commonly referred to as (amplitude) is able to pass through hard or soft plastic substrates creating the perfect punch. This knowledge that allows our engineers to use this valuable aspect comes from years of expereince and dedication to our craft of machine building. The Ultrasonic Punch stations of AIS Technologies Group are design so to create minimal stress on the Class “A” surface, thus reducing the potential for micro cracking that can lead to paint failure in the near- or long-term. Our Ultra-Sonic Punching stations are specifically tuned for your substrate and application need, able to meet fast cycle times, they are highly accurate and provide the prolonged reliable desired in automation.

Robotic Bonding

Ultrasonic Punch and Weld Stations
Combining the technology of weld and punch into a single stations is one of the pioneering acheivements of AIS Technologies Group. Ultra Sonic Punch and Weld Stations are at the forefront of technology. By incorporating multi-tool technology within one operating cell, the need to transfer stations is eliminated and thus the operational speed is enhanced. Custom sets of ultrasonic weld horns and punches are used for the specific part which, allows the station to produce unmatched quality. The system can be fully integrated with several different robotic manufacturers including Fanuc, Kuka, ABB and Yaskawa to name a few.

Mechanical Punch
AIS Technologies Group engineers design advanced custom mechanical punch systems for you specific application. The systems are extremely durable and made to last. Each are equipped to handle a multitude of complex punches either using custom hydraulics or compression tooling for a wide array of substrates which include: molded parts, hard plastic, wood trim and painted surfaces. This durability and flexibility is achieved all while maintaining accuracy and incredibly tight tolerances.
